Downloaded their SoundSource app to my Macbook Air, after using it for half a day I now have to upgrade to premium for 50$! If the homepage had said ''you can use this app for 5 hours then it will cost 50$ and or be turned off'', I highly doubt I would have downloaded it
Thanks for wasting my time. Also 50$ to control the volume on my computer, lol!
Bit depth is not 1:1 no matter how you sample, so you’re pretty much squeezing and re-stretching each sample to get back to peak of 0db, which is loss in quality for ALL system audio — trash and not worth the money until fixed, its like watching 4k on 3.9k and stretching back to 4k, you lose sharpness and anti-aliasing blurs everything, so stupid
Great software - super slick interfaces, and the underlying tech seems pretty rock solid too. Add to that, lightning fast support from genuinely helpful people. This is the kind of tech company that others should aspire to.
